Hi Jorgen and all,
In Australia the proofing standard is 3DAP and their web site is www.3dap.com.au
This standard is based on DuPont Eurosprint Cromalin as it is the most widely
used in Australia by the major printers and pre-press companies.
In regards to icc support the current standard requires proofing vendors to
submit 11 A1 (4 up) proofs for approval. Once approved this vendor is then
required to install and ensure that the standard is adhered to by the end user.
The icc profiles are not always accessible to the end used as different RIPs
don't use open ICC standards, but postscript color management instead.
