Fine, do it all together but do it with some thought about all the app's and
with some intelligence. At this point in time, and based on the history of
OSX, I'd be happy if Apple would simply deal with images and get hip to the
idea that printing is part of the digital hub. But sure, do it all by all
means.

Sure, the assumptions have to be consistent. That's not what we have today
under OSX with multiple applications which is kind of shocking.

I don't think anyone would disagree with that other then the various product
managers inside of Apple who for whatever reason have provided a number of
applications that are totally inconsistent in how they deal with color.

Well you'll get to see everything as you expect but no one else will. Or to
put it another way, if you make it look nice on your display on a Mac,
you're ensuring that every PC user will get consistent ugly previews on
their systems. Divorcing the display from how we edit files is a fundamental
necessity if we want others to see the same previews we do.
