I had the good fortune to work closely with the good folks at Monaco
when 4.7 was in beta development, and they made some great strides in
quality since early Spring, up to the final release. In addition to
being ultra-smooth (even compared to the velvety 'U.S. Web Coated
(SWOP)v.2'), the new 4.7 profiles do a fantastic job handling out of
gamut colors in RelCol. The Release Notes list the New Features to
include ICC v.4 support and new device support, but "3.8 Improved Output
Quality a. Better gamut compression provides more image detail and
smoother tonal transitions. b. Improved detail in the highlights and
shadows" is a major understatement.
