Title: Re: recommendations on monitor
calibration
There are a variety of display options, however the best value is
the NEC MultiSync
LCD1960NX-BK Model Number:
LCD1960NX-BK

I personally recommend that you look at the new basICColor L*
display 3.0 site license combined with a Gretag Macbeth EyeOne Pro
instrument at $1750.
This particular arrangement should provide:
Bright, sharp and stable color
Minimum Footprint
Excellent User Friendliness
Accurate Gray and Color Values as well as Outstanding Gradient
Ramp Transitions

I'm being asked to put together a
proposal which includes a device to
calibrate the monitors in a design office. This includes about 20
stations, both Windows and Mac, and they do both Web and print work,
and,
if possible, I would like to be able to profile one desktop scanner
(they
hand off final color correction to the printer).
I'm interested in finding out what people on this list recommend and
why?
Thanks in advance for any input.
