I'm using same set-up on an epson 9600 and I'm very impressed with the
results....
ImagePrint and Color Management is working well for us.
...however, I'm having a paper feed issue as well. I get the opposite -
the printer always feeds out 1 - 1.5 feet of blank paper at both ends
of the print and pressing the feed button backwards has no effect....
I've been in contact with both epson and colorbyte / imageprint and
they had suggestions, but no answers.
I'd think epson is feeding out the first part just loading the paper,
but then imageprint takes over, so maybe the last part is imageprint
feeding out extra paper.... who is at the proverbial wheel, I
wonder... ?
Maybe I'm a bit stingy, but it just seems unnecessary to waste so much
paper and I tend to suspect "planned extra consumption". Hopefully
someone here knows something about controlling the paper feed.....

I've been trying to not burn up a roll of 4x6 paper trying to get

is a full waste basket and salt and pepper hair that is now more salt
and hope that someone might be able to point me to where I haven't
gone to get the printer and the paper cutter to play nice with each
other. As it stands now the cutter leaves an 3/16" white strip on the
print on the leading edge coming out of the printer and lops off 3/16"
of the image area as it leaves. OUCH!!! Giving me a print that when
the white is trimmed 4x5 7/8".
I've tried to get this figured out but had to turn to the Epson driver
to print the few small prints I needed for this client. Short of
chucking the roll paper and printing on sheets and cutting them out by
hand does anyone have any idea what the problem is I have overlooked
or any hacks that need to be done? Or is this just the nature of this
cat?
Much thanks in advance,
