I repeatedly get asked to build simulations of printers already running
simulations on them. This time a client wants their Epson 1280 to match
their old Epson 5000/EFI LX 1.3 RIP, which is already simulating a
Matchprint with a custom profile.
Can anyone suggest a reasonable methodology in approaching this? If I
just profile the Epson as it prints now and try to convert from that to a
custom profile of the 1280 on printing to the 1280, I doubt things will
work out well....
Suggestions?
