And you can get a copy of TR-001 and study the Lab patches values for all
four colour ramps. The Lab values won't give you the % directly but if you
know www.brucelindbloom.com web site you can look up his formula to
approximate the Status T densities for each ramp Lab values and from there
it's simply a matter of using Murray-Davies to calculate Apparent Dot Area.
But maybe the simplest way to obtain that data is buying a SWOP Certified
Press sheet and simply take the measurements right from the sheet! They sell
them for $150.00 US each. Well worth the information they contain. Plus that
will get you an IT8.7/3 printed target from which you can derive
colorimetric data and generate valid SWOP profiles out of.
