I’ve been considering either the
DTP70 or the iCColor for their speed over the Spectroscan that I use today.
Has anyone here used both the DTP70 and
the iCColor and would they be willing to comment on the relative merits of one
vs. the other?

I’ve asked GMB about this and was told the next update. I’ve also
been told that X-Rite will be supporting the GMB iCColor in PROFILER. If both
companies come through with these promises, it will be good for both and more
importantly for us customers. It’s nice to see the to big players saying
they will again be hardware agnostic. I suggest we in the ColorSync
community keep an eye on these developments to ensure support. It’s a
win/win situation.
