Delta readings for print target profiles

Can someone breifly explain the terms below in reguards
to how they might influence the creation of a profile, and
what they may mean in reguards to the accuracy with which
the target was read.   Alos, are there certain "limits" or numbers
I would want to ideally achieve?

1) Average Delta E

2) Average Delta E 94

3) Average Delta  E CMC
