| This is my sequence when printing with the R2400:
file>print with preview>: be sure I have my custom icc profile, and go to page setup>format for:Stylus Photo R2400 (FW); Paper size: create custom paper size with custom margins as .25 .25 .25 .25 and say OK.
OK again, and the press print in the upper right corner of PS CS.
In "PRINT" (I have no idea if "PRINT" belongs to PS CS, OS 10.4.2, or Epson) the printer is Stylus Photo R2400 (FW) Presets is labeled because if have already gone through the routine.
Copies and pages, I check the summary and print.
My problem is the preset does not hold the settings. I set page setup for manual - roll, velvet fine art paper for media type, mode for advanced and use photo, high speed off
No color adjustment; leave ink configuration alone; extension settings is checked for thick. and the summary reflects everything the way I want it.
So, I can print and all is well.
Go to another image, the same size. Go through the same steps as above up to summary, and find the setting are lost.... What I get is page setup = standard, media type is still Velvet fine art paper, print quality is fine, instead of photo, high speed is no on, and color management is now color controls.
So, I must go through the entire procedure again, because even velvet fine art paper is really missing in the program.
I am on OS 10.4.2, Mac G5, dual 2.3, 2.5 GB RAM PS CS (not 2) R2400 driver version 2.53. But I had this problem with the earlier driver version as well.
