I have been looking at profiles in ColorThink, via 3D view.
Almost all of the profiles that I have for various DSLR and the Phase One
backs give the profile for our drum scanner a "run for it's money".
I.e. The shapes may be different, but the volume is relatively the same.
I'm sure I do not have grasp of a concept or two here, but from everything I
have learned a drum scanner should be able to out perform a DSLR or PhaseOne
capture as far as D-range and gamut.
What is going on here?
What am I missing?
TIA for the education.
