Hello,
Need some education here.
I've, been comparing various RGB working spaces vs. the LAB space using the
Calculator feature of the ColorSync utility under OS X 10.4.
When comparing AdobeRGB or sRGB to LAB, the numbers on the LAB side change
when Absolute intent is selected, (vs. Perceptual, Relative or Saturation).
However, when doing the same thing with EktaSpace, BestRGB & ProPhoto this
does not happen.
What does this mean?
Would the spaces that do not reflect a change have a more "neutral" grey
axis?
What, in your opinion, affect does this shift, under AdobeRGB or sRGB, have
on an images color?
TIA for any education you can provide.
