Hello Ernst,
I know. I have sold Epson print heads and I have changed
them by myself, but I would not suggest it to someone
who isn't used to do mechanical and electronic work like that.
B.T.W: ONE click in print head for the Canon W2200 is around 750 Euro.
A non-click in printhead for an EPSON 4000 is 300 Euro. Big difference
and much money to pay good service personal for.

As far as I remember, all EPSON print heads are NOT user changable.
That was Epson's intention, practice is different for the 3000, 5000,
up to 9500 range. Beyond that it gets difficult again but not
impossible.
