Please allow me to specify where things stand.
Safari and Explorer (5.2.3, the last version available for the Mac) are both
color-managed. In Safari, it's automatic; in Explorer, one must activate the
"Use ColorSyncÂ" check box in the "Web Content" tab in the Preferences.
As far as I know, Firefox and Netscape are *not* color-managed. I don't know
much about Opera.
