Just one warning: if you try to create an L*a*b* TIFF file using L*a*b* data
with GM's ColorLab, the colors will come out all wrong (at least on a Mac: I
have no access to the PC version).
It's a known bug that GM is not going to fix, since the software is
unsupported, as Steve mentions.
