Hi Ulf,

I had a similar problem when building a website for a client of mine, when I was using gif images and jpg images all in the same page. The jpg images had an embedded sRGB profile. The gif images can't contain any profile, so they were untagged. The only solution I found was save the jpgs without any profile as well. (you can check it out at www.purewood.nl). So are you sure every image has an embedded profile (aren't you using gif and jpg images in the same page).

Good luck, but your website looks good to me on a mac running 10.3.7 in Safari, Internet Explorer and Netscape. There are no tonal differences in the gray.

Yours,

Job Kuipers
