I'm pretty sure this was not a beta. It was certainly clearly indicated as
such.

As far as I recall (and the software is long gone), this wasn't a beta. If
indeed this is the case and indeed if you've got a released version that's
much better behaved, and I can verify that as a fact, I will gladly stand
corrected and inform the others on this list of that fact.
Bottom line is whatever version I tested was not well behaved, samples and
reports were sent to your company after which the discussions ended and
there was no attempt at supplying any kind of update or fix, therefore, my
opinions stand. Nothing would make me happier then to find that your product
(anyone's product) does indeed produce great results.
