Title: Re: Strange converion behavior
<That’s a common problem! Blues going cyan or magenta/ purplish (and please OUTPUT the files, otherwise you’re viewing the soft proof table while important isn’t telling you how the profiles will affect blues on output). >

I expect the blues to shift some, even a lot ...and particularly toward purple...but I didn''t expect a big "hole" in the blues, which is what it looks like. I did output proofs, so its not just the softproof table., but it is limited to the relative colorimetric intent.

<Previous to version 4.7 of MonacoPROFILER I saw these blue issues but 4.7 has a new color engine and the blues are now real blue; no more shifting.>

I agree. I did the same conversion with 4.7 and it nice and smooth with exceptional blues. The PerfX profile had a slight  purplish tendency to the blues and some banding, but  nothing unusual...and nothing that sticks out lke the issue with the GMB profile. I don't do a lot of conversion of images anywhere near as saturated as this synthetic one, so I guess I'm not too concerned about it, but I was suprised.
