This is common to OsX 10.35-7. I have a second PowerMac hooked up to a
second display (LaCie) that has two inputs A/B and the primary Mac often
loses track of which device is attached thus reverting back to the factory
iD profile and not the custom Gretag profile. It may have to do with
sleeping as when it's set it sticks and most of the time stays around even
while asleep, and on wake up. Since the PowerMac on the B input has a very
different video card it's very obvious when the calibration per computer has
the wrong set up so it's just a quick drop down in the monitor display
prefs>color and choose the right profile again.
I also see this on my Powerbook as you do.
