Well, I have an interesting problem and need a solution.
Been using a new Epson R1800 with only Epson inks. I guarantee it!
Did the custom icc profile, on the client's 7x10 rag note card paper. Client has nine different images to make 27 notes cards of each image.
There is just one image that refuses to print in detail. I can run Epson Enhanced Matte Paper through the R1800. The same Epson Enh Matte I run through my 9600. The print is gorgeous. I can print this print to my 9600 with matte black ink, and the print is gorgeous. I can even run this file through an Epson R320, using the canned profiles. The print is gorgeous, meaning there is ample detail. Maybe I would say stunning.
Oh, by the way, doing this job has so far cost me two (2) yellow cartridges. Any solutions about this also?
(I am printing targets on the R320 for custom profiling as I type this)
I just cannot figure out what I am doing wrong. All other eight images of hers prints just fine with the custom ICC profile on this silly Epson R1800.
Question. Should I be using the Epson 2200 or 2400? I purchased this R1800 on the advice of the Epson people.
(The 9600, and 4000 will not accept 7 in wide sheets of paper. And there is no work around)
Thank you all in advance for your solutions.
