ColorNavigator is free, and easy to use. It works only on Eizo screens
with the Gretag puck or OEM, I believe.
BasicColor / ColorEyes costs money, works with most sensors and any
screen, so it is very useful for multi-monitor systems like mine.
I find BasicColor / ColorEyes significanty superior to ColorNavigator,
but your own mileage may vary. Also, appears that screens intended to
be used with Photoshop should be profiled with a matrix profile.
My vote is that BasicColor/ColorEyes should be bundled with every Eizo monitor.
You may find more of my opinions on this matter via my blog,
www.monitor-calibration.net - however, I am not an expert like most
others on this list, just a photographer and journalist who writes
about these things.
