I have had some experience with short throw microwave links inside sports
arenas, and none of it was good. It would not surprise me if this disrupted
the electronics in your camera. I have found them capable of disrupting all
sorts of stuff from radio triggers to strobe power packs. Not good. I doubt
if they are good fro your health either.
