I want to be able to produce a visual representation of the expected
colour variation of our printers for our non-technical staff.
If I know, say, the average deltaE 2000 for a printer, is there a
utility that will take that information, along with a user-imput CMYK
value (these are CMYK printers), and produce a visual spectrum off all
the colours that lie within that dE value, with perhaps the target
colour at the center. I'm thinking of something like maybe slices of
the a*-b* plane, at various L* levels, or a 3D model, showing all the
colours that would be within this dE "zone".
Can ColorThink do this? Or is there another utility out there?
Thanks,
Matt Larmour
