I posted this in a few other forums, but I’d like to know if there’s anyone out there who has one of the new i1 Rev B (UV or non-UV) models and could comment on it’s performance measuring testcharts in strip mode within MeasureTool. My Rev A non-UV model is measuring charts fine, but I’m getting so many misreadings using the Rev B UV model that I can’t finish a chart. Well, actually I was able to measure the TC9.18 successfully, but I need to take about 10 seconds per strip or it will misread (this is the “faster” unit mind you). Other charts, including the chart I need to measure which was created with Test Chart Generator, are near impossible to finish and would be quicker measuring in patch mode. Anyone else have this problem?

I got mine last week and have had no problems at all. I’ve been using the TC9.18 target as well. No errors. The new feet seem to slide much better over the surfaces I use to measure the targets. I’m scanning much faster than normal but of course, there is a limit. But I think I can move the Eye-One over the row in a second and a half or less without errors. I prefer to measure slowly to get more averaging but it appears the B rev does scan faster. I’d never attempt to have scanned this speed with the previous version.
