Roger:
- open the test chart image (tif)
- go to Filters/Conversion/Spot Colors
- type in the number of patches for Width and Height
- Check 'Enable' to verify weather the 'resolution' fits the test chart
- Use the 'Save As...' option to save the converted file as '.txt' file
Note: the tif chart should be designed rectangular, lines between
patches do not disturb.

Too bad this technique does not work on TIFF Lab data?
This technique does work for me (I'm using ver 2.87 of
the ColorLab tool, under Windows).
I have just tried it with a LAB TIFF file, and saving it
as text, you get both XYZ and LAB values.
Indeed, apart from converting from data values to pixels and back,
I think this tool is not valued in all what is worth, maybe
because is freeware and not supported.
