I use this abCol conversion to create a certain effect when working
with a custom profile purposely made to mung up and compress my
values in a way not achievable otherwise. When PSCS2 handled this
work differently from CS, I did some test conversions with normal
profiles to pinpoint what I was seeing. All engines in PSCS and CS2
behaved the same way, gave me the same values, except ACE in CS2.
Broken was the right word for me at the time, and it is certainly
different from past versions...
