Richard,
That post goes right to my heart :-)
Despite what some of the best color color scientist tell me about 6500K over
5000K for screen calibration, I cannot tell you what kind of fantastic match
I've been getting between my D50-chromaticities calibrated Eizo CG21 and my
Epson 4000 proofs using basICcolor Display v3.1 (which comes in NEC sheep
skin clothing these days?) and my Optix. Images after images after images, I
have nothing but praise for this combination made in heaven.
So, yes, thank's for those encouraging words, Richard and Karl Koch.
Oops, I was going to forget that I view my prints under a Solux 4700K
desktop lamp powered by a 13.8V Eelco switching power supply.
