Hi Walt,
Thanks for the reply but I think my post might have not been as clear as I had liked. I am not converting the image to CMYK in Illustrator. I have an RGB document in Illustrator open and import, via the "Place" command, my image that is saved as a .PSD file. So I am going from RGB to RGB - and this is why I can't figure out why the image not only looks different on my monitor but prints different with the same settings as Photoshop.
I thought I read that Illustrator is not an ICC compliant program and that Photoshop is more integrated with the monitor profile and color space but I might be completely wrong. I could use some education on this subject. But still there should be a way to have the two programs "act" accordingly, right?
Cody
