<I am using PMP 5.0 and every now and then on images that have a lot of out

look Bad. I have a profile made form Monaco 4.7 that on the same file looks
great.>
Are the two profiles created with the same measurement data? Otherwise, you
may not be comparing apples to apples. That being said, I have both
ProfileMaker5 and Monaco Profiler 4.7, and I would have to say that I
definitly prefer Monaco generated profiles for the same reasons you
describe. Comparing profiles created from the same data, Gretag conversions
many times seem a little flat in comaprison while Monaco's are nice and
saturated and smooth...and this this does carry to the print/press from my
experience. Profile Maker definietly has more functionality though, I can't
imagine working without MeasureTool.
