Hm, from my experience, you can't. That was actually where the problem
with the original (> 1 year old) HP PPD for the CLJ 5500 started: HP
registered only for RGB, so there was no way to specify a CMYK profile
in ColorSync Utility (ColorSync Utility would not accept a chosen CMYK
profile).
Where exactly can you "select non CMYK-profiles for an CMYK-device"?
As I wrote, I'm using not the CLJ ppd, but another rip.
Although this rip is registered as CMYK, I can select
a RGB-Profile in the devices tab of the ColorSync utility.
And as far as I can say, the output seems to be RGB
(But I'm still testing)
