Yes, like you I also did notice that exporting Lab charts to TIFF files in
ColorLab is broken, but, on the other hand, the function that saves the Lab
chart's actual values to a reference text file produces accurate results, as
far as I can tell from checking random samples against their corresponding
numbers in Photoshop.
Your idea of using the Spot Color conversion filter (in lieu of the
Testchart Define function) is an excellent, and elegant, time-saving touch,
and I thank you for pointing it out.
