Hello Magnus,
Actually what you seek is possible, and much simpler:
Print your target chart out of Profiler Pro (I believe it ships with some
already formatted for EyeOne strip reading).
Download the ProfileMaker Pro v.4 package, and use it's MeasureTool module
to drive the EyeOne. (it will do this without requiring you to buy a
license)
After you finish reading your target, export the Lab data as a text file.
Profiler Pro (this is the ColorVision product, right?) can load that data
directly & work with it to build your profile.
I haven't done this lately, but it worked well in the old days of Mac OS 9.
