<Be aware that the Stouffer scales are, I
believe, silver/photographic scales instead of the carbon dye of the ST-34. It
may not matter for your application.>
<But if you were to use the
scales for direct screen camera separations using a pulsed xenon projection
light source, then you wouldn't want to use the silver
scales.
HAHAHAHAHAHAHA
(Sometimes I crack
myself up)>
Yeah, me too ...Har!
;-)
<But seriously, you'd want the dye
scales for use on a drum scanner. I don't think it'd matter much for a
flatbed/CCD scanner.>
My application is in fact a drum scanner
(among others)...maybe you could elaborate a little...what is it about the
silver scales that are not compatable with drum scanners? I've actually been
using a Hell grayscale that I believe is silver based.
