If Eizo is delivering the CG220 with a customized version of EyeOneDisplay 2
(like Sony does with a customized version of the Sequel puck) then it makes
sense, because that customized version will have been calibrated for the
CG220 spectrums. Otherwise, it's not ideal. A 'general-purpose' instrument
like the EyeOnePro could do a better job than a 'general-purpose'
colorimeter like the EyeOneDisplay 2, although that depends again on the
kinds of spectrums that the EyeOnePro has been factory-calibrated against in
emissive mode. Sadly, I realize now that there is no such thing as an
absolutely calibrated emissive device, unless one uses a spectroradiometer
-- and even then, it still has to be calibrated to 'some' standard.
