this is what this Prozessstandard says.


I tend to agree with Rich that in the case of highly reflective material
like foil measugin with a pol filter maybe the only game in town. But for
measuring "regular process conditions", as far as I know, in North America,
Status T response precludes the use of a pol filter.

This is not in opposite to what I said.

I have the DIS-ISO 12647-3 newspaper printing lying here.
There are 2 kinds of tables in it:
Status E with polarisation filter
Status T without polarisation filter



I wish I knew what the prevalence of that practice is.

Are you saying that most printers in Europe measure with pol filter all the
time?

The ones that want to have the certification must, yes.
