Hi Roger,
They should agree much closer than that. I would suggest you find
someone with a set of ceramic tile standards. These cost many hundreds
of dollars. You could also order a "Lab-Ref" from the
"www.idealliance.org" web site. I think these only run a little more
than $100 U.S. You should have third party standards that are not from
the company that make your instruments. These standard should be
traceable to international standards. Then you can check your
instruments and decide which instrument needs recalibrating at the factory.
