Jörgen, I hear-ya!
We are running a Cezanne FT-S5500 with ColorGenius EX 2.1.2.
We've been told to simply switch off "Setup" under "Detail Setup". Another suggestion by a Screen contact was to leave that switch on, but deselect all "Finish" options.
Our experiences have been that with reflection work (prints) we have been able to produce a fairly good profile, good enough for production with some colour correction post scan.
Our struggle is with transmission work (slides and transparencies). Here we have not been satisfied with the profile produced. When we assign the scanner profile the images always become extremely dark - too dark for use. As of today (we've had the scanner for about 4 months) we are not using it for any transmission work.
We have not found a way in which to specify a given gamma and density end points.

Is there anyone out there who has profiled a Screen Cezanne (FT-S5000) flatbed scanner? With the ColorGenius EX 2.0 software?
If so, I would be very grateful for some information on how you set up the software. I just can't understand what the manual is saying... I'm looking for a way to produce a raw scan with a set gamma and set density end points.
TIA
