Illustrator 10 / Gretag IQueue Issues !!

Having problems with IQueue processing
PS files created from Illustrator 10 , loosing some complex
patterns completely.
Also Quark 6.5 files having colored
type changing to white, Lots of funky stuff happening here !
The only work around for this is to
open the illustrator files and back save them to 8 and everything works
as it should.
Any Ideas ??
