I've unsuccessfully tried to edit the profile MediaWhitePoint tag, neither on Colorsync Utility or Monaco Profiler. Is another software needed to make these ajustments?

Yes, Roger, the images render in a darker way. It had to be corrected.

I would not try editing the readings. Instead I would try editing the MediaWhitePoint tag in the resultant profile. That should take care of keeping your 'pure' white 'pure'.

This being said, the fact that you're using AbsCol, don't you find your
images to render overall 'darker'?
