Profiling black & white printing

It's probably too early at this point, but I am wondering whether anyone is
trying to figure out a way to profile the new Epson UltraChrome K3 printers
in black-only mode (Photo Black, Light Black and Light Light Black).

Now that we have three blacks to work with, and that we have the option of
switching the other inks off, the time has come to think about profiling for
purely black & white printing. It's not quadtone yet, but it's certainly a
step forward.

Anyone with any suggestions or practical experience on how this is done?
Maybe one of those lucky beta testers?
