Hi,
Sorry to be somewhat incredulous; you actually have a 6 year old CRT that is still kicking out sufficient luminence for soft proofing?! Have you noticed any phosphor degradation? How are you calibrating it?

I've had this monitor for about 6 years now. It has served me very well,
providing very good soft proofing. Note - it is VERY heavy.

Does anyone know anything about the Sony CRT FW900? Is this still in
production? Is this a monitor worth using for color critical work?
