Yes, but are you saying that it makes no difference at what brightness or
contrast level you measure that display's white point? Or is it to be
measured at a specific level of contrast and brightness? And what about the
R-G-B controls in many CRTs? Those MUST affect the white point too.
You see how it gets complicated fast. I'm not clear on your approach.
