The White House photo lab uses Dell flat panels. Historically these screens are good. . . but only 80% of an Eizo. Apple Cinema displays seem to be either very good or mediocre, with debatable quality control. I know this is not a clear black and white answer to your question. The bottom line is that you are taking your chances with either manufacturer and should get an unconditional satisfaction guarantee prior to making any purchase.
