Marco,
Speaking to a GMB manager last week, he mentioned that the
i0 would be available at "about" the same time as the new
ruler. When asked to confirm the 2K$ price seen elsewhere,
he mentioned that the price was still "under
consideration".
Also mentioned was that the Spectrolino/Spectroscan will
still be available for a while, and that the i0 HAS TO BE
offered at a price point below it. How low? This is the
question. Obviously, the i0 is a lot less expensive to
manufacture than the Spectroscan.
The retail price is not a matter of manufacturing cost but
value.
What price are you ready to pay?
