I'm confused about profiling backlit media.
My Xrite DTP41T has no setting for the level of opacity of backlit
media.
Does it just accept clear or opaque? That seems to be the case.
How does one compensate for the brightness of the light box so that
enough ink is printing and the image has enough weight to look good.
I need to profile HP Colorlucent UV backlit material. I'm using Onyx
Postershop as a rip and making my profiles with Monaco Proof.
If I make a quickset and use the profile I get off the HP site it looks
terrible.
How would I set my controls in Postershop to make this profile useable?
Or can I? Is it just for the built in rip?
When I profile clear film with the DTP41T and Monaco it looks great.
I just can figure out how to do semi-transparent stuff like this HP
film.
