Hello list

I´m searching for detailed technical informations, how Tiger and the Apple own applications are handling untagged colordata.

This concerns especialy:
- preview
- safari
- color handling during printing
- color handling during PDF-Export via the printing dialogue

Is it right, that for all this applications / tasks, Tiger is assigning the profiles defaultRGB.icc and defaultCMYK.icc from
System/Library/Colorsync/Profiles ?

For several clients, I´m searching for a solution, to make the handling of untagged colordata conform to actual recommendationd from ISO / IEC / W3C

For RGB: assign sRGB
For CMYK: assign SWOP (US) or ISOcoated (Europe)

Is there any transparent, easy and stable solution to reach this goal ?

Thanks for all help
:-) Jan-Peter
