At that point, 95% or 100% or 105% of AdobeRGB gamut, does this really make
a sensible difference? I'd take 90% and still be very happy. I'm a bit leary
of those kinds of marketing claims made by monitor manufacturers, which
could turn to be true, granted, but, what I think really matters is that we
give credit where credit is due: these beats are in a class of their own,
over and above the rest and they will profoundly change the way we look at
color and heighten the credibility of soft proofing. Provided there are good
colorimeters matched to their spectrums or good spectrometers which can
measure their spectrums accurately. BTW, if anyone could measure the
primaries on these things and send a copy my way? Maybe someone at Eizo or
NEC could post their respective emissive spectrums on their web site? That
maybe too much to ask...
