Dear List
Fullfilling my own request about a Canon whitepaper about camera/printing
connection (but this comes from Microsoft).
http://www.microsoft.com/presspass/press/2004/sep04/09-22canonmtppr.mspx
As we know now, Canon is the professional expert source of Microsoft´s new
colormangement Basics.
They could have chosen worse..................;-))))
And to all those that start complaining now about the "oh allmighty giants
killing free competition" my answer is-
well I´m glad it´s done, at least we will then have a status where support
does not cost consultants and dealers an arm and a
leg, as because of it´s complexity, the customers do not understand what
they are paying for.
And if professional means " it does not work on the first try" and amateur
does mean "perfectly out of the box as a nobrainer"
I´d preferre to be an amateur..............
Shure the momentary infos are quite thin, but as Eric already said, the
concept is good, that´s exactly as I see it.
