That doesn't make much sense, does it? After all, one calibrates the LCD
projector IN A SPECIFIC SETTING -- or not?
The visual reflection of the image changes from one screen to another, and
is obviously affected by ambient lighting as well. Unless somehow you know
that you are always going to use the same screen wherever you go and in very
similar ambient lighting conditions (and that's a real toughie...), you MUST
profile the "projector + screen + ambient lighting" combination every single
time, not just the projector.
Maybe Don was demonstrating how NOT to do it...
