My conclusion: WCS is going to be good for the consumer. But its
proprietary nature is going to give everyone headaches. In particular,
I expect that prints made with WCS probably won't be matchable on
non-Microsoft platforms, because the profile calculation is only made
at run time by Windows, so the profiles used are not exportable to a
non-Windows system.

Can't everything be reverse engineered (i.e. printing targets, creating profiles...
ad nausium)? Even WCS (the EVIL EMPIRE)? After all, it's just mathematics,
isn't it? Couldn't ICC profiles be created from WCS configured devises?
